Mission Statement
The Office of Institutional Research seeks to further student learning by conducting tactical research and analysis that informs decision-making and strategic planning across the university. A fundamental goal of the office is to collect, combine, review, and analyze data pertaining to a range of operational activities at Terra Dotta University. The office systematically evaluates educational programs, administrative processes, and fiscal resources to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the university.OIR provides comprehensive information to support:
- institutional planning
- decision making
- policy formation
- evaluation of institutional effectiveness
- Reporting. The Office of Institutional Research prepares and submits official reports to ensure the university compliance with state and federal reporting mandates. In addition, the office coordinates responses to various data requests from other internal and external constituencies. Our staff consists of experienced professionals in data extraction, reporting methodologies, and advanced statistical methodologies. - Institutional Effectiveness. The office is responsible for coordinating campus-wide assessment of academic programs and administrative processes to support the university's improvement efforts.
